La Sella is ideally situated on the Costa Blanca coast. The region enjoys a subtropical Mediterraneum Climate with cool sea breezes in the summer and mild temperatures in the winter. It is renowned for its natural beauty and its beaches are some of the best in Europe.
The La Sella holiday apartment is located on a hillside overlooking the coast. It provides a perfect base for exploring the beaches and mountains of the Costa Blanca or to simply chillout by the pool and enjoy the facilities of La Sella.
The area has more recorded hours of sunshine per year than any other location in Spain and it provides excellent weather all year round.So wahtever type of holiday you choose this is the perfect holiday home choice.
Costa Blanca Beaches
The coast to the north of La Sella, from Denia to Gandia, offers 20 kms of superb, wide, sandy beaches that reach the 'Blue Flag' standard whilst to the south you will find rugged cliffs, rocky coves and picturesque resorts such as Javea , Moraira, Calpe and Altea.
Into the hills
The surrounding area is covered with miles of vineyards, olive, orange and lemon groves. There are numerous breathtaking drives around the local mountain ranges each with their own numerous unspoilt Spanish villages to explore. It is a paradise for walkers and cyclists, or if you prefer the gentler approach, ideal for exploring by car.
Valencia and Alicante
The beautiful city of VALENCIA with its historical and cultural attractions including the architectural wonders of the Science Park and L'OCEANOGRAFIC, the largest marine aquarium in Europe lies an hour to the north.
To the south Alicante has a wealth of history to offer the visitor and has an impressive mountain-top castle. The city also has a range of 18th century manor houses, all worthy of a visit.
La Sella for the family
If the pool, tennis, golf and horse riding of La Sella don't keep the family amused then you're not far from a range of other attractions.
To the South of La Sella is the great family attractions of AQUALANDIA water theme park, MUNDOMAR the animal water park and TERRA MITICA, one of Europe's largest family theme parks, are all less than an hour away.
Closer to the holiday apartment on La Sella is Vergel just 10 mins to the North. Vergel has a wonderful family zoo that is very Spanish and ideally for the younger end of the family.
La Sella Golf
Set next to the Montgo Nature Park, in the La Sella complex, the La Sella course is an 18 hole (soon to be 27), par 72 course, playing 6289 metres from the back tees. It opened in 1991 and was designed by Juan de la Cuadra and Olazabal.
La Sella golf club enjoys an absolutely stunning location in a national park with magnificent views of the surrounding mountains and woodland. Plentiful pine, orange and almond trees make this course feel very much in harmony with the surrounding countryside as well as providing tricky obstacles.
La Sella features everything you would expect from a top quality Costa Blanca golf course, with clubhouse, tuition, a putting green and driving range as well as buggy hire, pro-shop, restaurants and a sauna.
